E’Z Taqueria is a small Mexican food restaurant on the main strip in downtown Stroudsburg. I stopped in here quick with a friend while out on the town.
The Food
E’Z Taqueria offers dine in and take out. They have all of the typical Mexican fare you would expect including Tacos, Tostadas, Quesadillas, Burritos, etc. I had asada tacos and they were delicious. The cashier recommended a “somewhat spicy” sauce that was almost too hot for me to eat, and I usually have a decent spicy tolerance so keep that in mind. My friend had the quesadilla and she enjoyed that as well. Portions were good. They also offer dessert and soda and juice, however there are no alcoholic drinks here if you were craving that margarita.
The Prices
Prices were reasonable in my opinion. Tacos range between $11-$13 and you get 3 tacos. Quesadillas are similarly priced between $11-$13. Actually, pretty much anything you pick on the menu is between $11-$13. There is a kid’s menu as well for $8.
The Atmosphere
I thought the vibes were good here. This is not the type of restaurant where you sit down restaurant and have a server come over. You order at the counter either to-go, or to sit down at the tables. They did bring our food over once it was ready though.
The restaurant looked clean for the most part. Bathrooms could have been better.
The staff was super friendly and pleasant. The kitchen is exposed out in the restaurant itself which I always like, gives me the impression that they keep a clean working space since everyone can easily see it.
While we were, there was one individual who was clearly under the influence of some special substance. He was dancing around, finger painting the walls, etc. So I’m not sure how typical that is in this establishment, but it was a little uncomfortable.
Overall, this was a great spot for a quick bite, and I would definitely stop there again.
